PCI DSS Compliant Payment Gateways Available Through Magento Connect
Having a PCI DSS compliant payment gateway is essential for most businesses, especially for enterprise solutions. Even some of the better known gateways are not PCI compliant, the most notable example in the UK is RBS WorldPay, who were recently dropped from Visa’s list of compliant payment providers.
What follows is a list of gateways that use a PCI compliant service provider based upon the VISA list and gateways available through Magento Connect. I do not endorse or guarantee the functionality of any of these modules, although I have had positive experiences with the SagePay integration.
- SagePay, formerly Protx
- ChronoPay
- CyberSource
- FastTransact
- PaySimple
- ACH Payment (Commercial: $175)
- Amazon FPS (Commercial: $275)
- BeanStream (2 Available, Commercial: $175 and $299)
- eProcessing Network (Commercial: $175)
- FirstData, formerly LinkPoint (Commercial: $175)
- Optimal Payments (Commercial: $75)
- PayJunction (Commercial: $175)
- PSIGate (Commercial: $175)
- Plug & Pay (Commercial: $175)
- TransFirst (Commercial: $125)
- TrustCommerce (Commercial: $175)
- USA ePay (Commercial: $175)
- YourPay.com (Commercial: $175)
If I’ve missed anything, please let me know, will try and keep this list updated!

Hi Darryl, thanks for the list of PCI-DSS magento gateways, really useful to know that SagePay is supported. Could you please tell me how I can find the module on magento’s website to install it? All I can find is mage_protx, and I’m not sure if this module has the updated URLs for sagepay.
Thanks,
Jon

Hi Jonathon,
The Protx module is built by the Magento core team, the old Protx URLs have not been removed thus far and will still work, personally I would be fairly confident that an update will appear in the near future. From what Roy Rubin said at Mage::Camp gateways such as this are built by the Magento Core team thanks to a commercial agreement and if I remember rightly Varien were charged with keeping them up to date.
Thanks,
Darryl

Hi Jon,
Since early 2008 we maintain the Magento Sagepay (formerly ProTX) Direct Payment community extension, you can find it here http://www.magentocommerce.com/extension/163/protx-direct-payment-module/ . Our module has the Sagepay urls updated since late April and it has been downloaded over 2K times.
Also, we’re working on a Sagepay Server integration module for Magento which will released as a commercial module in a few weeks, follow us on twitter twitter.com/ebizmarts.

Hi,
We’ve just released a commercial SagePay Server payment module for Magento, see here for more information http://ebizmarts.com/magento-sagepay-server-module-released
This module uses the Server protocol which runs inside an iFrame on Magento’s One Page Checkout. Payment information is eneterd on SagePay’s server but without leaving the store, a really good way to improve conversions and have less PCI DDS concerns.
